About Classter

The Role

We are looking for a Full-stack Developer that will join our Product team. If you have excellent programming skills and a passion for developing applications or improving existing ones, we would like to meet you. As a Full-stack developer, you’ll work closely with our engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

Ultimately, you should be able to develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet Classter’s needs.

 

Full-stack Developer Responsibility

  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  • Write clean code to develop functional web applications
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications
  • Perform UI tests to optimize performance
  • Collaborate with Front-end and Back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
  • Gather and address technical and design requirements
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use

 

Full-stack Developer Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Full-stack or Back-end developer
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development, and deployment)
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages like .NET with C#
  • Working knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 5, WebAPI Design, and RESTful web services
  • Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. JavaScript, jQuery, Web Markup (CSS 3/HTML 5))
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • B.Sc. degree in Computer Science or relevant field

 

The following will be considered an asset:

  • Experience in Mobile App development.
  • Familiarity with Blazor/ MAUI, Xamarin, React or SPA Frameworks & MS SQL

Job Description:

As a Remote Database Engineer at Classter.com, you will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of our database systems. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring seamless data management, high availability, and performance. Your primary duties will include:

  • Architecting the overall database infrastructure for the Classter.com product.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement effective database solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining complex SQL code and procedures to support various application functionalities and business processes.
  • Overseeing data migration efforts and ensuring smooth data transitions for our customers from legacy systems to the latest platforms.
  • Conducting data analysis to derive valuable insights, improve data quality, and support business decision-making.
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and visualizations for key stakeholders internally and for our customers.
  • Monitoring database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance optimizations.
  • Implementing and maintaining database security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Contributing to the documentation of database architecture, procedures, and best practices.

 

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of MS SQL Database Administration and Development (TSQL) including proven experience as a Database Engineer, Database Administrator, or a similar role and strong proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL code and procedures.
  • Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization using tools like SQL Server
  • Reporting Services (SSRS), Power BI, or similar tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Experience with Azure database solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic Technical Project Manager who’s passionate about fostering client relationships, enhancing product adoption, and securing product implementation. As a key member of our Onboarding and Project Delivery team, your day-to-day would involve closely working with clients to enable them to implement and fully utilize the Classter platform. Direct client interaction, Project planning, Product configuration, and data migration will form a major part of your role.

While it offers the space for individual contribution, it’s deeply rooted in team collaboration. You will need to work closely with the product owner, product Engineers, Sales Rep, and Support reps to secure customer satisfaction.

  • Onboarding new customers and training their teams on Classter.
  • Configuring and setting up Classter installations for new customers.
  • Monitoring ongoing projects and managing customer relationships.
  • Writing change requests and articulating customer focus demands and requirements.
