Every school using Classter eventually runs into the same small moment of friction: you know the answer exists somewhere in a manual, a settings screen, a help article you read once and can’t quite find again but getting to it means stopping what you’re doing to go look for it.
We’re building something to close that gap. It’s called Epicurus, and it’s an AI assistant designed to live directly inside Classter, built to answer the question you actually have, in the moment you have it.
The idea behind it
Epicurus isn’t a generic chatbot bolted onto the side of the product. It’s grounded in Classter’s own documentation the same material that already explains every setting, every workflow, every screen in the portal. That matters more than it might sound at first: it means an answer from Epicurus reflects what’s actually true about your Classter, not a plausible-sounding guess pieced together from general knowledge of what a school platform probably does.
Ask it something, and it responds the way a well-briefed colleague would, pointing you to exactly the right process, described the way your school actually uses the system.
It speaks your school’s language, literally
One detail we’ve paid particular attention to: every school configures Classter a little differently, right down to the words it uses. Some call it a “Course.” Others call it a “Subject.” Some say “Class,” others “Group.” The documentation already reflects that, and so will Epicurus. Ask a question using your own school’s terminology, and you’ll get an answer back in that same language, not a generic term that doesn’t match anything on your screen.
Built to know who’s asking
Epicurus is designed to personalize its answers based on who’s asking, following the same access rules that already govern the rest of Classter. Access will expand in stages as we roll it out we’ll share more as that happens.
Wherever you’re working
Epicurus is being built to work naturally whether you’re sitting at a desk in the web portal or checking something quickly from your phone. The goal is for it to feel like the same assistant either way not a web-only feature with a limited mobile afterthought.
Where things stand
Epicurus is on track to become available to all Classter customers by the end of next week, pending final internal checks.
If you’re an existing Classter customer: no action is needed Epicurus will appear in your portal as part of your existing subscription.
If you’re not yet a Classter customer and want to learn more or get started, reach out to our sales team we’re happy to walk you through it.
